Every year (usually around September or October), I spend an inappropriate amount of time thinking about what planner to buy for the upcoming calendar year. In the past I've used Moleskines (daily, color-a-month and weekly at various times), a Filofax, and various undated planners (usually from an online retailer stocking Asian stationery supplies). None of them have been perfect, which is probably why buying a new planner each year is such a laborious process.
For 2013 I decided to go with a Life Planner from Erin Condren. It was pricey, but it's personalized (strangely important to me this year), good quality and has a very efficient format.
I made a quick video with an overview of the planner, how I use it to organize my day and some of my favorite things to use with it.
(If you hate video content, don't worry. I'm having fun experimenting with vlogs but I'll most likely never post more than one a week.)
I'm really liking the Life Planner so far but it's too early to say if I'll order another one for 2014. If you use a planner I'd love to hear what kind you have and what you like/dislike about it.
