September flew by. We had a few days where the temperature hovered around 80 degrees and it felt vaguely like fall, but then it shot back up to 90+ (I think it goes without saying that this is unacceptable). But maybe the weather is just playing along until I find a pair of maternity jeans and stop wearing shorts and skirts.
This month I did manage to finish sewing the baby's diaper bag (not without a few hiccups, but more on that soon). I also made progress on sewing cloth diapers, plus we attended a cloth diapering 101 class at our birth center (which was extremely helpful). And I'm slowly acquiring baby gear, thanks to consignment sales and hand-me-downs from friends.
I'm still doing lots of yoga, though I did fall off the wagon a little bit last week.
Alt for Everyone was awesome; I'll be sharing some more thoughts on that experience later this week.
I didn't manage to finish a book this month, unless you count The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which I've been (slowly) reading in the mornings during Private Victory. But Tori Spelling's new book will be released soon, so maybe there's hope for October.
In random news, I miss eating sushi like you wouldn't believe. I guarantee you we will be getting delivery from my favorite sushi place soon after the baby is born. In the meantime, I've been making due with a vegan roll and a fruit-and-cream-cheese roll from my second favorite sushi place (it's super cheap and conveniently located next to Jo Ann's, which I visit at least once a week). But it's not the same.
