I recently finished up my Sew Liberated Schoolhouse Tunic in a lovely Nani Iro double gauze (so perfect for this time of year in Texas). I'm embarassed to admit that I've had the pattern and fabric for years. Garment sewing has always made me a bit anxious. I'm trying to get over that.
Although not perfect, I do love the end result, and I see more tunics in my future (this pattern can also be made as a shirt). Next time I will probably cut a size down (this is a 6/8, which is the size for my bust and waist, but it's a very roomy pattern and I'd like it to be a bit snugger in the shoulders).
I'm planning to wear this to Blissdom on Friday, so if you see me, say hi!
