Want to make a fun scarf? It's a great way to use up smaller bits of fabric or your favorite prints. The best part is that it will only take you about an hour (I swear!).
1. Prep your fabric. I cut pieces about 9" wide by 13" long. I used 4 pieces total, but feel free to mix it up depending on how many different prints you use.
2. Sew the short ends together, right sides facing, until you have one long strip (it shouldn't be a circle yet!). I used a 1/4" seam allowance.
3. Fold your strip of fabric in half length-wise, right sides together, and sew down the long end.
4. You should now have a tube of fabric. Turn it right side out and press so that the long seam you just sewed is centered on one side.
5. To turn your scarf into a circle, fold under the raw edge on one end and tuck the other end inside, so all of your raw edges are hidden. Topstitch.
Yay! I love tutorials. This looks like a fun project.
